Trails in the Area

Finca La Esperanza sits in the Partida de Caprala, one of the most unique spots in Petrer and the gateway to the Protected Landscape of the Serra del Maigmó and Serra del Sit, a natural area of 15,842 hectares combining Mediterranean pine forests, ravines, historic snow wells and traditional rural architecture.

From the Caprala recreation area —a few minutes from the restaurant— start several of the signposted "Petrer en Verde" trails, six approved PR-CV itineraries that cross the area from the accessible PR-CV 33 to Rincón Bello to the demanding PR-CV 32 to Pico del Fraile (1,124 m), passing the legendary Silla del Cid and the classic link El Plano de Sax — l’Avaiol.
