Petrer — Silla del Cid

Route and description

The trail begins on Avda. Salinetes, next to the A-31. We head north along the asphalted track; after about 400 m the track turns right, heading east, and on a gentle ascent we reach the Forcat farmhouse. We continue straight ahead, always climbing, as far as the Casa del Forestal. Here the asphalt ends: we take a path that branches off to the right and climbs up to the pass, where we head northwest to gain more and more height until reaching the cairn of stones that marks the summit of the Silla del Cid.
