Xorret de Catí — Pico del Fraile

Route and description

The itinerary begins at the Hotel Xorret de Catí. We take the road that descends towards Elda-Petrer, until we reach a signpost indicating the direction of the Crestería del Fraile. Following the trail markers we reach the Pantanet. Once at the Pantanet dam, we descend to its base and then take a ravine downhill to the signpost marking the path to the Pico del Fraile. Once we have crowned the Pico del Fraile, we begin the descent along a trail leading to the Mirador de Catí. From this point we continue the descent until we return once more to the Hotel Xorret de Catí.
